Venice Rococo

September 1757, Casino Venier, Venice. Hidden in a Venetian alley lies a secret ridotto, an intimate apartment. A rosewood door opens to a pastel-colored room adorned in powder pink, pale green, and pearl white. Perfumed with violet, rose, and iris, stucco carvings of clouds, garlands, and cherubs dance in candlelight. The soft strains of a mandolin play from behind a wall, blending with the whispers and laughter of two lovers in their clandestine encounter. Developed with Rodrigo Flores Roux.
